When is the Food and Clothing Bank open?
- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings @ 7 PM
- Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday mornings @ 9 AM
- We are closed on Fridays
How many households can be assisted at each outreach?
We are able to assist the first 35 households with clothing and the first 40 households with food at each outreach. We suggest you plan on arriving a little early as it is ‘first come first served.’
How often can each household receive food?
A household may receive food twice in a calendar month (for example, two times in the month of May)
What do I need to bring with me in order to receive assistance?
You will need two forms of identification:
- Picture ID (driver’s license, etc.)
- Proof of Residence (utility bill, piece of mail, auto registration, etc.).
- No identification is required for other members of your home.
Do you deliver Food Boxes?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide food delivery services at this time.
Do you take Donations?
We accept all new and gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing. Please be sure to launder any clothing you would like to donate and put it in bags. We have a donation box on the East side of the compassion building where you can deposit the clothing.
What can I expect at the Food and Clothing Bank?
Every guest who requests assistance is asked to fill out a questionnaire. The information is then added into our computer system. Our guests are then interviewed and we ask if they are in need of any hygiene items or baby items as they may receive one of each. During this time, we hope to get to know our guests a little better and if needed provide information about other programs that may be helpful to them at this time. After the interview, our guests are given the opportunity to choose some clothing while their food bags are being prepared. The last step of the process is for our volunteers to take our guest’s groceries to their car.
